What is used for my robot as the independent variable is the Black top , tile , and the carpet. The dependent variable is the seconds it takes to finish its program and the speed. In this experiment the controlled variable is the robot and the program. If you were wondering what the independent, dependent, and the controlled variable is then let me tell you, the independent variable is the one and only factor that is changed in the experiment. The dependent variable is the factor which is measured or observed in the experiment. Responds to changes in the independent variable. Last but not least the controlled variable is all the factors that stay the same.
This is my programming for the Sensabot Challenge. My first block was moving motor A and C 3.3 wheel rotation. The next block makes the arm go down. The next block makes the arm go up. Then the robot moves 4.6 wheel retains. Then the arm will go down. Then the arm will go up and stay up till the next line. Then the robot will move 3.9 wheel rotations and then the arm will go up and then down. Then it will move backwards -12 wheel rotations.
